I still want your opinions!!
1. Why are we born sinful?
(a) Cuz' we'll still sin even if we're not born sinful.. cuz satan is still around..
(a-i) But to assume that we'll sin even if we're created perfect.. Isn't that a lil too assuming..? Like we'll definitely sin juz bcuz satan is around to tempt us..
(b) I was thinking along this line.. for a simple reason of procreation. If man are born perfect, ie. without a sinful nature, yet living in an imperfect world, ie. with sinful ppl around, there will be confusion as to who needs salvation.. it's not practical.. i think..
2. Natural disasters..
(a) To show the fragility and uncertainty of life.. (warn about death)
(a-i) There are other ways to warn us.. like accidents, diseases..wadeva.. right?
(b) God has His perfect plan to protect us..
(b-i) But.. innocent lives are lost.. His plan doesn't protect us ALL .. yah?
(c) To warn us of probable similar natural disasters.. And so we'll be able to prepare ourselves..
(c-i) Refuting my own point.. God is omnipotent.. He can do all things. He can prevent all natural disasters from even happening.. we won't even need to prepare ourselves then..
3. Wad happen to those who din get a chance to hear the gospel? Or those who can't understand the gospel?
Any takers?
I have to admit that being an agnostic is easier.. but it's like sitting on a fence bcuz you can't decide which side to fall on.. It's too laidback a 'stand' for me..
Malaysian!! Get out of army and argue with me!!

yea. anymore questions? -cong
it's still sin. but the thing is that we don't know that's sinning since they can't understand the standard of God. it's like jaywalking, we jaywalk without realising it's a sin. we will still keep doing until someone tells us that it's a sin, or until we understand it is sin, it is wrong. it may be sin, but i don't think God will judge anyone if they really don't know and don't understand sin.
eh. y you so late still neva slp?
And.. dunno you sin yet you sin = no sin..?
but i think God will still judge them as the wages of being a sinner is death. God may not judge the things they 'sin', but God may judge them for they are sinner in the beginning.
so it's abt leading a blameless life..?
hahas. i just reached home from work at 1am. hahas. so went online lor.
i think so. yeps.
anymore?
hmmm. shall go and slp on it. thanks! Go and slp too..
yea. nites.
well.. i dont know how to explain myself. but i was thinking perhaps (about natural disasters) since god knows everything, he probably knows that if he doesnt allow this particular tsumani disaster to happen, something worse could happen? like.. for some reason or another, more lives may be lost, or mebbe with the disaster, other huge problems in the world may be solved.. a greater no. of people (than the no. of disaster victims?) can come to know god and lead eternal lives? there must be some plan or another..
oh and i think i agree with ian about sins that we duno = sin.
..did i make any sense? :S
hmm. i think..
As christians, we shld lead blameless lives. If we sin unknowingly, when God looks at us, He views us thru' lens tinted with Jesus' blood. And primarily bcuz we received Jesus into our lives, we are forgiven.
But when it comes to pre-believers, including ppl who died without hearing the gospel, or simply cannot understand the gospel, even if they lead blameless lives, by right they can't be saved because only Jesus can save us from spiritual death. So it's not just about leading a blameless life...
And about sophia's point.. God is omnipotent. He can stop ALL natural disasters from happening.. The question is.. for wad reason does He allow this to happen?
